What I need from you.

I will need some photos of your pet. Ideally these will be taken outside so I can see the light in the eyes and the colours in the coat. The photos should be fairly close and in focus. If possible the photos should be taken at the same level as your pet with all of its limbs visible (if a full size portrait is required) although this is not essential. Generally, the clearer the photo, the better the final painting. A handful of photos is best and if you are not sure what to send just send what you have and I will find a way to work with them. I’m always happy to work with you to achieve the best picture possible and photos can be sent via email. Once we have decided upon the image a 50% deposit of the agreed total price is required with the balance being paid before pick up or shipping. I will provide a photo of the finished portrait via email. I’m also happy to send photos of your portrait in progress if required.

How much is shipping?

“Jane painted this beautiful portrait as a surprise birthday gift for a good friend. They were so pleased as it really caught a brilliant likeness. Sadly my friend’s dog has now departed, so the portrait will be cherished even more as a loving memory.”

‘Thanks so much for capturing my boy in such a magical way. The lady who framed him told me I must really love my cat! I just smiled.”
