My story so far…

In November 2023 I moved from Cambridgeshire to the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, the home of my maternal grandparents and a place I know well.  The scenery here is breathtaking and has continued to inspire me to paint expressive, textural land and seascapes as well as birds of prey.  I regularly take commissions for pet portraits in soft pastels and am very excited to be running workshops here in North Wales as well as continuing to teach and demonstrate art techniques in East Anglia

I’ve always loved drawing and early on I knew I wanted to continue pursuing my art alongside my love of literature which led me to study a degree in Arts and Humanities at De Montfort University.  I  worked part time in The Stained Glass Museum in Ely Cathedral for 13 years where I enjoyed learning about the history of stained glass and giving short tours of the museum. This work complemented my daily painting practice and I continue to push my learning by attending residential art courses around the UK.   I love to share my knowledge and do so by running workshops in a variety of mediums and carrying out demonstrations to art societies.

I enjoyed taking part in the annual Cambridge Open Studios and on moving to the Llyn was delighted to have my work selected for the Summer Exhibition at Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw.

Commissions are welcomed for pet portraits .  All I need is a photograph.  For any other commissions or demonstrations I’m always happy to discuss.   My paintings are for sale.  For more information, please get in touch via my contact page or direct message me via my social media pages.
